Commute Patterns and Needs Survey
Survey period extended to November 21!
Tell us your commute needs, take the survey!
As part of a commute needs study, Mendocino Transit Authority (MTA) is conducting a survey to help determine changes in transit service that could include new routes, service frequency, and/or the coordination of car or vanpools.
Tell MTA about your travel needs for work, education, healthcare, and other purposes so we can develop a service strategy to better meet your travel needs. The survey is limited to one entry per person.
About the Study
MTA is conducting a Commute Transportation Study to better understand travel commute patterns and needs, both within Mendocino County and to regional destinations outside the County. An important part of this study is understanding where, when, and how Mendocino County residents travel on a regular basis.
Study area: The study area is limited to Mendocino County’s inland valley, including the communities of Brooktrails, Potter Valley, Redwood Valley, Anderson Valley, Hopland, Talmage, Laytonville, Covelo, Ukiah, and Willets, as well as area Rancherias (Sherwood Valley, Round Valley, Redwood Valley, Coyote Valley, Laytonville, Hopland, and Pinoleville).
Enter to win: Residents (18 years or older) of Mendocino County can enter to win an iPod or a Wii game. Please provide your name and e-mail address when prompted at the close of the survey, you will automatically be entered in the drawing. Winner selection will be conducted by random drawing from all eligible entries, and winners will be notified Friday, December 18, 2009. Limit: one entry per person and per e-mail address.
Questions? Please contact Glenna Blake, MTA Planning and Marketing Manager, at glenna@4mta.org or (707) 462-5765 Ext. 447.

“Our goal with this study is to help ensure that we are meeting the needs of our residents. If our current routes and services aren’t meeting those needs, we want to hear about it and figure out a way to better meet those needs.”
